Joplin teen and his parents were caught in the horrible tornado which struck Joplin , MO last May. Both his parents were killed and he was critically injured. Among the severe damage from being tossed in the tornado and hit with debris, he suffered severe burns to his body but particularly his face. He is still in the hospital and will need several costly surgeries over the next several years.
He needs your prayers and your help. Biking For America will be raising money and is working directly with Joplin Fire Captain, Kevin Theilen to ensure the funds go directly to this young man and his sister. Biking For America under Kids In Christ is a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization whose mission is to help disabled children. It was founded by 13yr. old Joseph Machado who biked across America to raise money for disadvantaged children after his own personal experience in a wheelchair.
